The Little Things

God really confirmed what we are doing in the services yesterday. What a powerful move of God and a great response from His people! I didn't realize how much the little things in your daily life, like a cup coffee, changes your routine. When we remove those things it allows us more time to set aside for God. Remember to not only fast, but to pray and read 2 Peter 1:3 which says, "We have a lively hope." That Hope is the power of God working in our lives.

WHAT A AWESOME PRESENCE OF GOD IN OUR SERVICE SUNDAY. I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR A PASTOR WHO RECOGNIZES THE SPIRIT OF GOD AND ALLOWS GOD TO MOVE. I FEEL SO BLESSED BY GOD TO BE PART OF OUR CHURCH. LET'S ALL LIFT EACH OTHER UP DAILY DURING OUR FAST AND BEYOND. WE NEED EACH OTHERS PRAYERS THAT GOD WILL LEAD AND GUIDE OUR STEPS THAT WE ALL WOULD BE THE VESSELS THAT GOD WOULD HAVE US TO BE. I WILL BE CONTINUALLY PRAYING FOR OUR CHURCH THAT GODS ANNOITING WILL BE UPON US AND OUR PASTOR. PRAY FOR ME AND MY FAMILY THAT WE WILL EVER BE OBEDIENT TO GODS WORD.

Pastor J., when I read this I immediately thought about a group of ants and how they work. You see them busy working but it doesn't seem like they are getting much accomplished. A little piece of dirt here, a piece of dirt there and the next thing you know a huge ant pile, and we all know how annoying ants can be especially if they are fire ants. Just like the ants our daily routine can become so full of small things that eventually we have a pile that is causing us problems. My prayer is that during this fast I remove some of the small things that are beginning to pile up in my life and cause problems and spend more time focusing on God.
