Every dream that God places inside of you has a birth place.
When God has placed a dream inside of you, that only he can make possible, you need to pray, give and fast.
Jesus himself out lined a sermon on this in Matthew 6: 1-18, speaking of these three things. At the end of each one he said “and thy Father, which sees in secret, shall reward thee openly.”
God’s word reveals the power of a threefold cord in Ecclesiastes 4:12, and if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Jesus also spoke in Mark 4:8, and told how some brought forth, “thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred fold.”
Could we be missing our greatest breakthrough because we fail to do all three? That if we give, if we pray, and if we fast it very well could unlock the hundred fold. Again I remind you that Jesus himself said when you do these three things the father which sees it in secret will reward you openly.
We are a little over the half-way point of the fast, so, allow God to strengthen you and speak to you during this time.

When you read Daniel chapter three you often see and speak of the things that you read in the scripture, but it’s what is not there that stands out to me. When you read this passage of scripture you don’t find panic anywhere.
We get excited about the fact that God has a plan for our life…….. But then it dawns on us that we are surrounded by trouble, so we begin to panic.
We often become like disciples on the ship in the storm: They wake Jesus up as if to say, “come and worry with us!” Mark 4:38 says: carest thou not that we perish?
When we panic:
· The initial becomes the official
· The worst becomes the first
· The extreme becomes the supreme
Have you ever been in a place where you were just totally overwhelmed? It's like somebody needs to do something even if it's wrong. The three Hebrew boys didn’t panic!
We often say: “God help us”…and reality is, he helps us every day!!! We should request that he be glorified in all we do. The enemy wants us to constantly beg for something God has already finished. God was actually setting this up so he would be exalted and glorified!!!
Notice a couple of things that occur in this process
1. They were convinced and would not compromise:
Daniel 3, "...O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter."
2. They knew what the outcome would be.
Daniel 3:17, "If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king."
It’s as if they were saying at the end of the day: “king we know we are in the hands of God.”
That’s why they didn’t panic. Remember you are in God’s hands.

As you read in the book of Daniel while on the Daniel fast, by chapter two he is 18. The king dreams things that trouble him yet, his advisors fabricate interpretations and tell him it means nothing. He becomes angry because he realizes that the dream must mean something. He decrees, they must also tell him what he dreamed and the interpretation, or they all would die. Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah lives were on the line. The astrologers, the magicians and the soothsayers, couldn’t interpret the dream, but God uses Daniel to reveal and interpret the king’s dream. Daniel said ”there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets”.
2 Simple Questions were being asked here:
• Are you willing to let God in your life king?
• Are you willing to let God in the secret places of your life king?
Some people, unless God reveals the secrets in their life, will never fix the problem!
God can set the house in order, but too many want to be blessed and not fixed.
Too many don’t want Him to reveal their secret they just want Him to tell them their dream!
As a result, when God used Daniel to tell of the dream and the interpretation of the dream two things happened.
1) Dan 2:47 The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.
2) A king who called himself king of kings bowed……think about it… a world superpower who bowed to no one, just bowed before an 18 year old boy who fasted and had the favor of God. This was in recognition to the fact that Daniel’s God was the true God.
You just can’t beat the favor of God!!!!

It was Great services Last night in all the departments.
I am so excited to see an overwhelming amount of involvement with our Daniel fast. From our children’s department, youth department, and Sanctuary, many have set themselves to seek God.
We often view Daniel as an older man sitting in a den of lions but in Daniel chapter one he is 15 years old, he is in captivity, everyone and everything is stripped away, but they knew the answer and that was to seek God and even in that place God had a way of promoting them when they fasted. Where ever you are right now remembering even in that place God can use you.
As for Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah in Dan 1:20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.
Remember to read in the daily journal and pray…..take this time at the start of the year and set it aside to seek God.

Today while you fast and pray, believe God for increase by focusing on Psalms 115:14-16. Two things stand out to me when reading this scripture. One is that increase is unlimited (More and More). Secondly, increase is not confined to one particular way. For example it could be your wisdom, understanding, compassion, personal finances or your health that is increased. Not only can this increase come to you but also to your family. We are blessed by the Lord and he has given us the earth. Stay focused on God and his word by denying the flesh and allowing God to be the well spring of life inside of you.

God really confirmed what we are doing in the services yesterday. What a powerful move of God and a great response from His people! I didn't realize how much the little things in your daily life, like a cup coffee, changes your routine. When we remove those things it allows us more time to set aside for God. Remember to not only fast, but to pray and read 2 Peter 1:3 which says, "We have a lively hope." That Hope is the power of God working in our lives.
